If you haven’t gotten enough [M]ovement in your life (and let’s face it, you can never really have enough), come out and dance with us this Friday on Barrows wind tunnel at our monthly workshop!

It is the time, the time for [M] MIXER!
Let [M] Mixer move those miserable midterms out of your minds!
On Friday, March 9, [M]ovement will be the proud host of our greatest event of the semester! (asides from Showcase, of course)
Come party with us at Pi Alpha Phi. Doors open at 9PM and close at 12AM. Be sure to arrive early since there is a cap on the occupancy.
Since our theme this year is BLACK LIGHT, the first 50 people to purchase pre-sale tickets will also receive free glow sticks! Don’t fret if you like to procrastinate though, glow sticks will also be for sale at the table and at the door along with tickets (Pre-sale: $3).

[M] Workshop
Come out this Friday and start off your long weekend the right way, by DANCING!
Our second workshop of the semester will be held on Upper Sproul from 4-7PM this Friday, Feb. 17.
Swing: 4-5PM with Allie
Jazz: 5-6PM with Hannie and Jessica
Hip-Hop: 6-7PM with Greg and Sammy
No experience necessary. Just come out and have fun!!
Kickoff!
How fitting is it that we had our [M] kickoff as the same day of the Superbowl! 
Thanks to everyone who made it out to Memorial Glade this morning! We hope after all of the icebreakers, team competitions, and yogurtland (nom :9), you got to know your fellow [M] dancers a little better and meet someone you haven’t met before.
Practices are beginning this week and we hope to present everyone with yet another fantastic showcase at the end of the semester.
Keep posted for upcoming [M] events, like our first workshop in a few weeks! Remember, our workshops are open to everyone (basically anyone interested in learning some new dance moves).
And so it begins…

This Sunday, we are having our Movement Kickoff from 11-1Pm and next Sunday 2/12, we will have Bootcamp. Come out and join the fun!

Hi all! Are you ready? Because [M]ovement sure is!
We’re going to kick start the new semester with Pre-auditions workshop scheduled for Friday, January 27 from 4-7PM on Upper Sproul.

Of course right after we have, AUDITIONS! They will be held the day after Pre-auditions workshop on Saturday, January 28th on lower sproul.

Sproul Shows and Showcase!!!
Hello [M] fans!!
We are scheduled to perform on Lower Sproul this coming Monday and Tuesday (Nov. 21 and 22) for our Sproul Shows!! Each show will run from 12-1pm. Don’t miss this opportunity to check out ALL the [M]ovement sets that will be featured at our Showcase, which will be Dec. 2nd and 3rd.
Tickets for Showcase will go on sale AFTER Monday’s show, and will be $9. As our Showcases have consistently been a SOLD OUT event in the past, you may want to get on your purchases as soon as possible!! Guest performers lined up to perform on the stage as well!

The Movement’s FREE November Workshop!
Hello everyone!! We have some great information to share with you today.
First and foremost, we are having our LAST free workshop of the Fall 2011 Semester next week on Friday November 18th, from 4-7pm at Lower Sproul! We’re really excited to see you all out there, learning some great pieces from our very own choreographers in the following lineup!
4-5pm: Jazz, taught by Hannie Dong
5-6pm: Swing, taught by Lori Nishimura
6-7pm: Hip Hop, taught by Greg and Sammy (aka, Grammy)

We’d also like to remind everyone of certain events coming up later this month and in December! The Movement will be performing Sproul Shows on Lower Sproul in less than 2 weeks to give you all a taste of what to expect at our SHOWCASE on December 2nd and 3rd.
